Details on Our Programs
Our core team builds a student-centered learning environment which encourages students to inquire and explore different STEAM related fields.
The class fosters the collaborative space for students to inquiry and build the local community.
Students will join groups to design projects collaboratively as well as to tackle a real-life problems.
Artificial Intelligence
The program introduces students to the latest development topics.
Students will learn the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, including the history of AI, the algorithmic thinking structure, modern AI techniques, and machine learning concepts. Demo cases are IBM Waston, speech recognition, augmented reality Hololence and virtual reality. It would be a fun and engaging class with meaningful lab observation, hands-on lab as well as thoughtful discussion in relations between human and AI in the future.
Mobile APP Design
This program is designed to develop students’ skills in computational thinking and analytical thinking skills. Students will learn the Swift programming language to design basic animations in two dimensional space. In our hands-on lab, students will learn how to set up a variable, create an animated sprite, design the game loop to repeat the movements of the selected animation.
The program prepares students to think how to write object- oriented language. It will be a fun class with challenges.
Human Computer Interaction
Our project-based learning model designs meaningful technology learning space for the students to develop understanding in computational thinking and robotics.
Students will get exposed into the concepts, including wearable hardware design, Lego Robotics, Raspberry PI, and Arduino. Our hands-on lab encourages students to construct different hardware with different structures of circuits. Some fundamental concepts are data structure, variables, binary numbers, conditional statements, class and objects.
Innovation Leadership
Our leadership and entrepreneurship seminar encourage students to critically view the challenges and opportunities in the hemisphere of technology innovation. Students are encouraged to apply what they have learned in class to present individual business ideas.
Our program introduces classical business cases to guide students to develop individual business products. Some cases include 3D printing. Our user-centered design workshop will guide students to design future business, product and get feedbacks from the peers.
